Who's so cute?

This is Ryan's new (well used but the original Oshkosh cardboard tags were still on it) outside suit. Jesse thinks it makes Ryan look a a Who. He wore it to church today because it was really cold and snowing. (Wish I had one!)

Fall Photo Op

I finally got some fall photos of Ryan. Good timing too because it started to snow this weekend. And it is cold and the leaves are now all covered in snow and soggy.

Ryan can transfer the rattle from one hand to another. Not on purpose (we think). It is more of a I put my hands together and then it appears in the other hand kind of a thing.

For FHE activity before Halloween we made cookies

Mine are the "cute" ones. Jesse's are the umm different ones? I was giving some of mine away so they are nicely frosted and have sprinkles. There are some Easter shaped cookies that snuck in per Jesse's request. Oh so apparently the frog cookie is upside down. The white things are its eyes.

This is Ryan's shell. It is made from a pillowcase, some carboard, batting and puff paint. This is Jesse making his shell and second sword. And yes like any good Coffman boy he is cutting it with a knife.


Ryan holding his shell... no in costume pictures yet. He didn't like my backpack idea so on Halloween he wouldn't keep the shell on. I'll work on it. Ryan enjoyed touching the puffy paint on the shell.

Yep that's right I went crazy and bought MORE peaches. These however were not as tasty... it was the peaches not me.

It took Jesse awhile to figure out a good camera setting. Those are our Halloween lights outside on our balcony and our glow-in-the-dark bat window gel clingy things.

On Sunday I was walking home from church with Ryan (Jesse was in a meeting) and more focused on how he was almost asleep than his head... I got a few steps before I noticed...

Bird poop... washing it off an almost asleep baby was hard, needless to say he woke up :(

Marie...you may recognize this outfit... it fits him now, maybe almost too small. Newborn sized clothing needs a new definition.

Laundry is always an adventure... living on the 3rd floor makes it more exciting. My neighbor offered to watch Ryan whenever I need to do laundry. I, however, manage to do laundry when she is not home. Ryan either gets to be in the wrap or ...

He quite enjoys riding and luckily for me he isn't able to roll out and has not yet spit up on the clean laundry.

Peaches

I found a wonderful deal on peaches... they came out to be around 27 cents a pound. The only problem being you have to buy a half bushel (about 22 pounds). They are delicious peaches, but we can not eat all of them and thus the canning began. Jesse came home to a sticky film all over the kitchen. But now we have canned peaches.

Ward Ice Cream Social

For the second year in a row our quad won the Wymount Opening Social tug-of-war... we had to defend our title right? Well I suppose it helps that we are right next to the field where it takes place and we had twice as many people pulling as any other quad. So, we won ice cream!

What?

The creamery by DT closed down and BYU is down to about 3 ice cream flavors and a limited supply of it. We got mostly vanilla and some cookies and cream. The best part was the topping... whipped cream, cherries, nuts, caramel and chocolate sauce.
