I often go walking

Jesse and I always manage to see some pretty interesting things on our walks. Perhaps this is Heavenly Father's way of encouraging us to continue?

The real reason for the walk. I wanted a picture of this sign. It is on the road leading into our complex. Can anyone spot the grammatical/spelling error?

Then we saw a deer...

Nope, make that 5 deer

Plus one stag

Wait dad!!

Cute boys walking side by side

These are the random woods by our house. The trees are in oddly straight rows. Anyone know why?

This is a new addition to the woods. It is spray painted onto the sidewalk.

Then we found crickets

If you enlarge this picture you will see that a person is walking their Great Dane using a golf cart. Strange...

(Jesse) Now if you pull out your 3D glasses for this one, you will see... oh, wait. Still 2D. This was a sample of toad leather we found on the trail. Yum!(end Jesse)

Sticks!

And then there was this. Well really we saw it first, but it was fun to save the pictures until last.

What is this? Anyone know?

Not a raccoon or a vole or a shrew... wrong climate for a mountain beaver. Ondatra zibethicus perhaps? If so why is it 10 people-walking minutes from the lakes? And why is it sitting in the tree in the middle of the day, eating leaves? We may have seen one of these earlier this summer on one of the walks around the pond at my in-laws.

Mom, what is that?

Here is a picture of its foot if that helps identify it.

This is a picture from a walk today. It is a squirrel eating a mushroom.

Jacob and Kayla's Wedding Part II (The Actual Wedding- Logansport)

The Actual Wedding... well the reception any way.

Bubbles!

Everyone gathered outside to see the bride and groom off...

See you in a few minutes ;)

Bet you can't jump down

Bridal party. Ryan later crawled up the steps and visited with cousin Alex

Andrew and his girl Emma. In the background the DJ is explaining to the photographer the proper way to rap ;)

How we were feeling as we waited for food. Darn table 27! P.S. that is sparkling grape stuff of the non-alcoholic variety. Thanks for thinking of us!!

Avaleigh Grace - the newest addition to Andrew and Sarah's family

Mike and Everest -almost the newest addition

Just give me the whole thing

A photo of me!

Cutting of the cake

They were very nice to each other and there was no cake fight or cake smearing

I love this picture of Jacob. "My cheeks they are full of cake".

Awww

The cake cutting implement (military boys)

Cake cutting take two... apparently the angle was bad the first time?

Ah ha haah

Got a little cake on my finger

Bouquet toss

Everest meets Great Aunt Vivian

Garter toss... Jacob put it on a football signed by the bridal party and then threw the football with the garter.

I'll just sit here and act cute

Ryan pulling on Chad's highchair to get at the corn cob. Ryan had put it there earlier.

Thanks for the corn. I wonder if our moms are done getting ready yet?

Fun in South Bend

What we have been up to.. (part two)

Ryan and Jesse at the opening Notre Dame picnic. Ryan is enjoying a chicken leg.

This is right after a few co-ed girls walked by. He smiled and acted super cute for them. The girls of course thought he was the most adorable thing and did the customary ahhhhh!!!!

I am king of the house!

I can't quite get this last ring on my arm, mom.

Now where is the knob to fan? Huh? Probably on the floor just out of the camera frame. I didn't even know it came off, until someone pulled it off. And then tried to replace it with a milk jug lid.

Cookie Monster was getting too many drinks of water, so I decided to put a diaper on him.

Ryan is either kissing or eating Cookie Monster.

This was shortly followed by on the table trying to get the lamp.

Ryan has come to love clothespins. It makes laundry difficult because he walks away with the bag while I'm trying to hang clothes up. Here are some other uses for clothespins.

I helped Jesse with his hair. What is that on my toe dad?

And then Jesse got Ryan.

This has no sound because out of the three recording devices that we have, only mine was charged. Ryan is into putting lids on things and putting objects into containers and bags. He is good at cleaning up, until he decides it is too clean and dumps the entire container out.
