Christmas Day 2011

A blog post! Crazy I know! Here is a little bit from our trip to Washington.

Sophie tries banana with Great-Grandpa. Ryan eats banana like a professional.

Christmas Day

Ryan's stocking, holding some of Ryan's favorites, yogurt drops and m's

Our stockings... Mine is the big sock :)

Presents and stockings

Playing with Aunt Tater before breakfast

If I could only get these open.

Stuffing his face with yogurt drops.

All they'll let me eat is this wrapping paper!

Dad lending a helping hand.

Do you think she is really that excited about the Mickey D's cup?

Cute little girl

All my toys

Is this it?

September

5 minutes of jar cool down... fast post

What we did in September
And as a reminder... please do not share or re-post any of our blog photos without asking me first. Thanks :)

What did dad do to my hair?

"eat chew" (eat you)
Our garden did produce something. Lots of tomatoes and peppers!

Birthday waffles. Me, "Ryan, what did we have for breakfast"? Ryan- "ummmm, p'ncakes, mmmm waffles, ice cream, wryan birthday".

Dumping truck. Jesse called it a dump truck before he called it a garbage truck. Ryan has never made the change.

That little boys loves vehicles

Ah so cute!

Time for me to sleep. Good Night!

Grandma Visits :)

Now that the pie filling is in the canner, I can do another blog post :)

My mom came to visit shortly after my dad left.

It was colder and rainier when she was her.

Ryan is in love with his boots and "wainckoat"

Stomping in puddles, a favorite past time

Adabelle's birthday party. Her mommy made everyone mouse ears. So cute!

Ryan practicing his "pit'chure" taking skills

Healthworks Muesum

The vegetable garden

Tomatoes apparently go in the ground?

Pushing the toy shopping cart around

Putting the skeleton together. Naomi tried to eat the bones.

A lesson in bone names from grandma

Each inch made a different tone

Becca trying out the balance board

Crazy psychedelic blinking light board. In this photo it is a piano. A terribly out of tune piano.

Climbing the "skin" rock wall (note the skin cells, hair follicles and pictures of mites)

Strange game. If you "push" on the digital blocks they move, but only when you are close to them. Ryan was bored when touching the screen didn't do anything. Becca is trying to see if it is shadow activated.

Pushing buttons that light up a brain.

Token Sophie shot. She slept in the stroller the entire time.

Grandpa's Visit

Well, I thought since I had some time while waiting on my pie filling to can... I would blog.
Here it is!
Grandpa Sasynuik came to visit (in August) but we won't talk about how long ago that was ;)

Here we are at the River Walk/ Fish Ladder

Babies and Ballons

Ryan found my stash of balloons.
He learned how to blow them up and was excited at how they grow.
He wanted to share with his sister.
"Sophie, blow it up"
I told him, "Sophie is too little for balloons".
A little bit later I look over and see...

Luckily, she had a pacifier in her mouth.

Week in a Post

Here is our weekish in a nut shell

  • In the amount of time it takes me to wash my hands: Ryan got Sophie off of our bed and onto the floor
  • He also picked her up from the ground when she was laying on the floor
  • Ryan peed in the potty
  • He pooped in the bathtub (he called them "fuzzies")
  • Sophie got shots and afterward would yell at the nurse if the nurse looked at her
  • Ryan went to nursery without crying
  • We stomped in puddles. Ryan wanted Sophie to stomp too.
  • We went to the ward picnic
What a week!

Potty

After bath Ryan was standing there saying "potty, potty" and I was thinking "I do not have time for this" (because he usually just sits there forever).
So I lifted the lid for him and went to get the crying baby. I come back to him saying "under, under" (the seat has a little splash guard?)
And there was some wetness on the seat, but I wasn't sure if that was just from not drying him off, but sure enough there was quite a bit of pee in that little potty :)
