So Jesse was working at the Goshen fair toward the end of summer. Cinnamon's four oldest kids and Marie's two oldest were at grandma's house. Well Lexi and Lily woke up sick so they stayed back home with grandma. So I was off to the Goshen fair with three little boys. (Taylor, Samuel and Ryan). About 15 minutes away from home Sam calls and asks me to bring butter. So to Kroger we go. We get into the store and I realize I have to go to the bathroom (and can't make the 1 1/2 hour drive). So to the back of the store. I put the baby on the ground and tell the boys not to move. Fastest I have ever gone. And much to my relief they are still standing there outside the door. Then off to the butter. To keep thier interest I ask Samuel and Taylor to find the cheapest butter. They do and they each take there 4 pounds each (it keep their hands busy through the store). We go through the self checkout and Taylor wants to scan his own... so I let him and then Samuel does his. I hand both boys thier bags of butter and we head out. The self-checkout worker hestitanly says "have a nice day". Back in the car.

So... I really don't know Indiana that well. And I get lost in Warsaw. Yeah. So we finally get to the fair and it is raining. By the time we get there the baby is hungry so I feed them while the boys go on a two rides and sign up for the frog jumping contest. We waited a while in the rain for Samuel and Taylor's turn. Samuel's frog went 72 inches in 2 jumps (or something close to that). At that point Taylor tells me he doesn't feel good. So I send him back to the Elephant Ear trailer with Grandpa. Part the way through eating lunch with Jesse, Taylor throws up behind the trailer. So we wait a bit to make sure it is all out of him. And I feed the baby again. And say good bye to Jesse and we try to leave. Well someone had parked their truck really close to the van and I was stuck. Luckily Doug came out of the camper just then and he backed the van out. Home we go. And I did't get lost.

Samuel was the only one feeling good that night. He also got a bit lonely and as I was doing laundry he put a sleeping bag and pillow down outside the door and told me he just wanted to be near me. That was an adventurous day. (click on the images to make them bigger).
